"I was working on the 'Teacher in Space Project' for NASA in 1986, and had a lot of
material ready for the event.
The Challenger disaster affected me very deeply.
I decided
to express my feelings musically, and the result became my first album."
In 1988, the album was used in the opening production of the Christa McAulliffe
Planetarium in Concord, New Hampshire. Christa's parents were the guests of honor that
day. The music is dedicated to her memory.
